What is your writing process?
Whether I am writing a book or an article, pretty much everything I write comes through prayer. I often ask the Lord, "What do You have for me to share with my readers?" As I spend time with the Lord, He drops ideas and details of how to communicate those ideas into my heart. I take extensive notes, and, as soon as possible, begin the actual writing. I find that if I begin an article or chapter while it is still a fresh, living idea, the thoughts flow well -- because the Lord Himself gives the insights for where to take the concepts which I am presenting.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My most recent book is "The Dream Book: A Practical Guide to Christian Dream Interpretation" (released 11-01-20). I have been writing about dreams at my "Out of the Fire" blog for years, as well as doing dream interpretation workshops. This book goes a lot deeper than anything I've taught before about understanding how God speaks to us through our dreams. It's practical, detailed, how-to info which will help my readers feel confident that they can hear from God in this fascinating and fun way.
It includes an extensive dictionary of Bible symbols at the end.
