  • Garstein's Legacy on Nov. 25, 2012

This is a very good book. Quite a modern day Dickens. I have read it twice, and second time it still was a well read.

    Very good to read.
  • A Brother's Duty on Dec. 06, 2012

I was positively surprised by this book. It was very well written with very likebly characters. It's about acceptance and tolerance. The reference to baroque music playing and in particular to our national icon, recorder player Michala Petri, was a nice additional touch. I might not agree on the book's view on global environmental changes, but this doesn't retract on the overall
  • A Key to Paradise on Dec. 15, 2012

  • Broken: A YA Paranormal Romance Novel (Volume 1 of the Reflections Books) on Jan. 01, 2013

I was impressed. Usually I don't like stories about shapeshifters, werewolves and the like, but the story is so well written, that you just want to know what happens at the next chapter.
  • Princess Ruby of Tamworthia on Jan. 04, 2013

Very well written fairy tale with a modern twist.
  • The Skin of the Gods on Jan. 04, 2013

This a continuation of '2 promises', with Beth as the heroine, sort of. While the story of '2 Promises' was straight forward, this story is more convoluted, going bacwards and forwards in time, between ancient Egypt, old England and present day.

  • Seize the Day on Jan. 10, 2013

Great story about Roman soldiers turning into galley slaves because of twisted judgment. Later they escape and help as bodyguards for a man driving two African she-elephants to India. They end up alone with the elephants later meeting up with a magyar-like nomad tribe. I liked the way the attachment between the soldiers and the elephants developes. But there are a lot of twist and turns in this story. I recommend also the authors other book: 'On the Razor's Edge'
  • The Confession on Jan. 13, 2013

    Amazing. Very, very well written.

  • America One (Book 1) on Jan. 25, 2013

I was somewhat in doubt about this book. There was way too much technical data about flying machines and getting into space. I liked the interaction between the characters in the story, albeit a little sketchy in description. If you like the technical stuff about aluminium alloys and flying aircrafts, this might be the book for you.

A heartbreaking and emotional wrencher, but with a positive outlook. In Denmark we have had lots similar cases, where normal youngsters were institutionalized at mental institutions, because of poverty, prostitution and physical challenges. Thank You! for a great story!
  • Alinora on Feb. 17, 2013

Great story. I particularly liked the parts where reality and the alternative world started to interact, and the twists with her 'shrink' and her meeting with Caleb in the real world.

Great plot. A pageturner. Kudos to the author.
  • His Daddy's Car on April 27, 2013

Action and romance. Russian mafia and reunion. Perhaps a bit harsh when mobsters are punished, and thers's a little bit too much of erotic encounters, But over all a good read. Good plot.
  • The Larsen Sisters 1: My Sister's Wedding on Sep. 24, 2013

    Cute story. What happens next?
  • Coronado Dreaming on Oct. 23, 2013

I am impressed with the prose and the imaginative plots and twist of the fate of Greg. Perhaps the midle part of the story is a little too long. One is prone to lose interest in the main plot of the story, until the action picks up in the end of the story, when Greg wakes up.
  • Running on Oct. 25, 2013

Good story. Needs a little thorough text checking. Some obvious mistakes, where names are interchanged, and 'nots' missing.
  • El Guitarrista on Nov. 03, 2013
    (no rating)
This is not Latin!! But Spanish!
  • A Woman Warrior Born on Nov. 09, 2013

    Very nice story.
  • Hannah on Dec. 06, 2013

    Sweet dominatrix novel
  • Shuri Gate on Dec. 14, 2013

Interesting novel based on the author's personal experiences working as a KC135 tanker crew chief. The novel is a part love story and in part a hard talk airplane experience. The last part is heavyly encumbered with technical abbreviations and airplane slang. This a problem for non-technical readers. Even if there is a glossary in the appendix, I would recommend the author to 'translate' the important abbreviations in the beginning of the novel, and graduadly introduce the abbreviations in the text, og even reduce the use of the same.(AFB AWOL TDY...)
  • True Survivor - The Seth Winston Story on Dec. 17, 2013

    Good story.
  • Share Your Toys, Timothy! on Dec. 22, 2013

Nice hardworking Timothy meets the Jones family, and is attracted to the female members of the family. A story of love and action. Perhaps a little too violent for my taste. The badies are really bad! And the good guys/girls are really, really good!
  • Tea-shop Twinkle on Dec. 22, 2013

    Well written romantic short story.
  • Rewind on Dec. 23, 2013

Brilliant. This is the plot in 'Groundhog Day' with a twist. While Bill Murray in the movie wakes up the same day and tries different strategies to release his time loop, Bobby in this short story discovers he can rewind time to an earlier point. Can he use this to save his marriage, which is failing, and try to undo his past mistakes? Or is it more complex than that?
