What inspires you to write?
Story lines often come flooding into my head each day, but I get excited when one of those ideas makes someone else excited. Those feelings are contagious and push me to write. As I don't always know how the story will end when I begin it, I am then as interested in finding out the ending as I hope my readers are when they read them.
Set in 1924, Leicestershire, England, three aristocratic brothers throw a gala party at their family's grand manor house. However, the party gets interesting when a fortuneteller arrives to read their palms and reveal their secrets.
The ending is as unexpected as the fortunes told during the evening.
TEN YEARS AGO, a string of grisly murders rocked a small Montana town ... now they're back.
When a town grows silent and is afraid to talk, the new sheriff must search for clues elsewhere. Strangely, he discovers a red door, sitting upright in the middle of a vast field that may hold an answer. But what he fears is that it holds something else far more evil.
The battle lines are drawn between the breakaway Republic and the United Socialist States of America. Outgunned, the new Republic must rely on its entrepreneurs to combat a formidable foe. Shea and Sumner prepare for the worst as war clouds loom. Meanwhile, the tyrant ruling the USSA with an iron fist will stop at nothing to keep her power. Thousands will die, but what will emerge from the rubble?
PART II - The US slides further into tyranny, re-branding itself as the United Socialist States of America. Shea struggles to find her husband and then finds a new cause with a feisty Congressman from Wyoming. A new Union forms, as calls for secession roar. Law and order break down; people are slaughtered; and the powers in Washington watch while it burns.
Can the US be saved? Or is it too late
The government and big-business collude to destroy two entrepreneurs who have created something that threatens them both. As a dictatorship grows in Washington, it begins stripping away the freedoms and liberties of its people, and a separate Union forms. Violence erupts, blood is shed, and people vanish. Will it result in a second civil war? Can democracy survive or will it die forever?
