Smashwords book reviews by Jeff Vrolyks

  • "Mommy, there's something under my bed." on July 03, 2012

It's awfully short to put much depth of critique into, but it was enjoyable and well written. I'm glad it didn't have a happy ending because I'm always expecting happy endings. Some times our darlings have to die!
  • The Whore's Consummation on July 12, 2012

Great read. Inspiring idea delving into the minds of both at play. Exhausting details of their interaction, but exhausting in a good way--you left no stone unturned! I recommend
  • The Year Lease on July 13, 2012

I enjoyed the writing style, the blunt candor of the first-person narrator, and the story. Aside from a few typos, no complaints at all. Well, that it didn't continue further warrants a little complaining. Good job, Tia.
  • Brennan's Lust on July 13, 2012

A sad lament, yes, but I wouldn't punish the author for writing truthfully, as surely this is a familiar situation to all who read it. Perhaps this is an exercising of a demon for the author. It was a good story, compelling given its length.
  • Flirting With Trouble on July 13, 2012

A very cute and sexy story. The prose was excellent. Great writing, great concept.
  • Feels like Heaven on July 13, 2012

Sexy story, very well written. Uncommonly written in present tense, and even more uncommon in that it jumps from third-person perspective to first-person, to first-person of another character. It's not easy juggling them all, I'm sure, but this was executed flawlessly. The setting was described in vivid detail, painted a picture wonderfully. This is a skilled writer.
  • Micah, The Fierce Takes On Emma, The Brave on July 15, 2012

This is the second story from this author I've read, both great reads. A distinctive style, charming and humorous. For a female author, she narrates well in first-person male. I look forward to the next installment.
