Biography

John Wayne Falbey writes thrillers involving international intrigue and geopolitical actions. His debut novel, Sleeping Dogs: The Awakening, has been endorsed by Compulsory Reads and has become an internationally bestselling thriller. There now are five books in the Sleeping Dogs series about a ruthless, patriotic black ops unit hunting and eliminating America's enemies. His latest novel in the Sleeping Dog series is A Deadlier Breed. He currently is working on the sixth book in the series under the working title "Deadly Litter: The Young Pups." He also is the author of The Quixotics, an action-adventure tale of gunrunning, guerrilla warfare, and treachery in the Caribbean.

The writers currently at the top of his reading list include Brad Thor, Alex Berenson, Lee Child, Ben Coes, Brad Taylor, Daniel Silva, and David Baldacci.

What are you working on next?
I currently have three books in the hopper. One is a prequel to the Sleeping Dogs series. It explores their individual childhood experiences that made them who they are today. It also covers their recruitment and training by Levell and McCoy as well as their early missions. Another book doesn't feature the Dogs. It will be a stand-alone book about what happens to corrupt bureaucrats who mess with the wrong citizen. Of course, there's another book in the Sleeping Dogs series on the horizon. AGU is still attempting to dominate the planet and has targeted the Dogs for extinction. Nadir Shah and his crazies are still dedicated to annihilating all non-believers and apostates. Stay tuned.
