Eric Johnson

Biography

Been writing since I was little, but now going to the mainstream side, since I like my work, and need to see what people think... But... I have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and using that experience with my foray into military science fiction. Currently I have one book off of that, and one based on my flight sim experience.

Unlike the other stories, this one was actually pretty good. Short, and (no pun intended) to the point.

Having read an earlier version, I have to say Brent has a vivid imagination, and this book doesn't let you down, in a good way...

This is copied from Facebook but otherwise true. 0 out of 5 stars... No seriously this is Mari Kurisato's first book and honestly rates an honest 5 out of 5 stars. The book is billed as "erotica" and while there is a lot of sex (F/F, M/F) it really... isn't. I've seen some "combat erotica", a cheesy video that you knew was just about the sex, but this book had depth to everything. I like that she wrote to the point and didn't waste my time explaining things as the world was developed and initially annoyed me but then again it's taken 13ish books to develop a universe of my own, but she does it right. As it's an apocalyptic setting so you don't need to explain the obvious, just need to fill in where needed. So you didn't sit there and dwell as she was to the point in all honesty, where there is semantics in some books the sex and the violence was to the point, not filler. Granted I skipped over the sex scenes (the action was much better) and it just plain made sense, so if you're a loser like me with nothing to do on a Friday night, check this book out. There was some stuff at the end and no disrespect, but fantasy stories don't thrill me, good hardcore violence that made sense, and not overly cliched. Toward the end yeah, happy ending but kinda makes you want to explore the world, and as a writer, gave me a few ideas, and not just about the sex.
