I love a great fantasy erotica/romance, so when I read the blurb for Will of the Gods, I was excited to read it. I was instantly hooked. There are two sects of Tantra (magical priests and priestesses) who worship the gods the Mother and the Father. The problem is, the male priests have banished their sister priestesses and enslaved women in the land. The best part? Their magical power comes from the power of sex--namely, orgasms. Yeah, I know. Awesome, right? Our heroine must pair with a thief to achieve her objective--stealing the circlet of the Mother from her male counterparts. Of course the thief is gorgeous and mischievous and sexy as hell, and she must get down and dirty with him to make certain spells happen. I loved this set up and was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering "Eeep! When will she need to use magic next??" It was exciting and fun all the way through. The sexy bits were very well written, but I did have one complaint SPOILERS NEXT!!!! SERIOUSLY SPOILERS which was that the first time the two main characters did it properly, it was a three way with another woman. The main character wasn't jealous, but I was. I wanted their first time together like that to be... private? It's totally subjective, and I still re-read the scene, if that tells you anything ;). SPOILERS OVER! All in all it was a very entertaining read. I look forward to more from Lynn Mixon. I received a freebie on this one, but I'm sure I'll be purchasing his other works. Yay!

The erotic scenes were intense and lush, the language really making you feel both the arousal and fear of the main character. It's very well done, and I really enjoyed it :). The one thing that makes me give this four stars instead of five is that a couple of times I felt like there was some POV confusion. I thought I was in one person's head, and then another person is smelling something or thinking something. Not sure if I wasn't following, or if there were small mixups, but it made me pause a couple of times. It definitely wasn't anything to detract from the story, though, and I can't wait to read more!

HOT HOT HOT!! As an erotica writer, I love it when a story has a slow build that results in a powerful *ahem* climax. This story absolutely pushed all the right buttons for me, from a caring, sexy husband, to a wife having a first-time girl-on-girl adventure with her friend. The whole time I had the feeling of a loving couple taking care of one another's needs, but also experienced the thrill of a new sexual adventure. I loved that the author added layers of verbal consent throughout, too, which made it very hot and very believable. I received a free copy of this story from the author, and told them I wouldn't review it unless I enjoyed it, which is my policy. I really, really want to know more about this couple and enjoyed it immensely! The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is that there were some missing commas, which distracted me from time to time. I'm a grammar nut, though, so I doubt it would both most readers. Give it a try! You won't regret it.

Hilarious! This is the first book I've read by this author, and it didn't disappoint. I went in expecting a weird funny sex romp, and this book delivered. HARD. I laughed out loud a few times throughout because of lines like these: "The Eskimos may have a hundred words for snow, but at that moment, I only had two: Fuck. Yeah." "Give me that South Pole!" LOL This was a pure snowball made of frozen fun, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a crazy, sexy read!
