Not too bad. Annoyed me a bit that the dialogue form wasn't consistent. One minute neither character could string enough words together to form a proper sentence and the next minute both were speaking full on sentences and then back to broken ones again...
Very cool to read about the computer world during the 80's, it's all new to me as I wasn't even born then! I really want to know what happens to Beth, especially after that last line. Is this story going to take a paranormal turn or was she speaking figuratively? Can't wait for the follow up!
Vampire story that tries to be original by veering away from the usual vampire traits to its own detriment as certain aspects remain unexplained and confusing.
While entertaining enough, editing mistakes detract from the story telling. Spelling and grammar mistakes and the misuse of tenses and general phrases need to be reworked. I found myself smirking over the phrase " taller than my five ft 12 inches" for example.
Nevertheless a good story with typical, but surprisingly sweet and shy, manly men.
Darrin is a sweetheart and Mitch is just so real. It's a great book with wonderfully developed characters and a story that doesn't feel contrived or all about sex. I've saved it on my computer and will definitely be re-reading it!
Thanks for an enjoyable read!I've read the other books by this author here on Smashwords but this is by far my favourite. I like that even though the book is short there's still a lot of background to the story and characters. The book does, however need editing. Already in the book description and first sentence there are errors. Keep up the good work!
It's nice to read a book that isn't just sex from the first page to the last but one that actually has a story to tell. An enjoyable read that I forgot to review the first time I read it. Since I have now all I've left to say is thanks for a great read!
I've been passing this book over because the description somehow made me think "horror" but it is actually pretty damn hot! I'd like to know if there is something between Devon and Gage and if Devon is ever redeemed.
Alright story, felt it was just beginning when it ended. Never did find out about Zach's childhood and it seems like a fallout with the producer would have been inevitable but was never addressed. Also Steve isn't as dominant as you would think. Yes, this is explained away as him wanting a relationship built on equality but instead of thinking of him as a Dom I just perceived him as more mature and experienced than Zach.
Simple, average story with a few errors but nothing that detracts too heavily from the story-telling. I found it to be rather trite and while the premise is interesting enough the story follows the usual love story pattern with the requisite angst and unreal happy ending.
I've read this before but don't for the life of me know why I didn't rate it then. Because this is the most amazing story ever! It's everything a good romance novel should be. I'd give it 100 stars if I could!
Something about this book left a bad taste in my mouth. I couldn't help but feel that Kyle was constantly being used. The story keeps contradicting itself and the dialogue is oftentimes stilted and jerky.
Both Matthew and Steve are willing to sleep with Kyle and keep taking advantage of his need to be accepted. Also, they keep using the Marines as an excuse to keep things clandestine and are slightly homophobic.
Nothing ever really happens besides sex and the many grammatical errors made reading the story somewhat difficult.
I love Kyle Adams and Dirty Cop did not disappoint. Conrad had me totally amused and if it weren't for the fact that I read the previous review before reading the story, the ending might have surprised me. Thanks for a super read!
Kyle Adams might just be my favourite author. I have, and love, all the Dirty books and this was one was just as good, if not funnier, than its predecessors. I wish I was even half as witty as his characters.

I couldn't get past the dialogue being encrusted in the text the way it was. Made it very difficult to follow the conversations. I suggest separating it from the rest.
I don't think it's possible to give a proper review without reading the entire book but really, even after struggling through this one I still have the same opinion as I had after the first seven pages: this is a painful read.
The dialogue is stilted and unnatural and as for being a romance novel there is little real romance, in fact, this book is quite far-fetched, and not in a good way. Two men sharing a bed as a challenge, one of them gay, the other confused, not to mention half of one guy's house just given to the other by the guy's mother and sister...
And also, what kind of adult romance novel has the words "put your thing in me"? Please, edit.
Monotonous and boring to the point I wanted to quit just a few pages in. Decided to give it a try but the characters are superficial and one dimensional and wholly uninteresting while the plot is easily predictable.
Sweet and sappy, just the way I like my German love stories. I quite liked this book, the characters are very sweet and at times corny but it works. There are certain instances where the word choice makes it obvious that the author doesn't have English as his native language but I think it adds to the charm of the story. Thank you Mario for a very enjoyable read.
I like Dawn Sister but I struggled a bit with this one. Tristan for one with weird Wyoming drawl that was inconsistent and quite frankly put me in mind of a British accent. It all felt a bit jumbled to me but nevertheless I did enjoy the story. Thanks for the read!
Brilliant! Will definitely go check out this author's other books. Alex and Ethan were amazing and their animals just about stole the show. I loved knowing what each man was thinking and I'm hoping there's more featuring these two.
