Strange Love: Short Stories and Twisted Tales
on Nov. 25, 2013
I like reading anthologies and short stories from time to time. Those are like a breath of fresh air from reading full length novels all the time. The book’s name itself reveals the contents. This anthology is a collection of 10 short stories with a twist. My favorite one is “The Tale of the Tower”. It’s a modern perspective of Rapunzel’s tale. I enjoyed it a lot. The good thing is no two stories are similar in this collection and each one has a different kind of ending. The book starts with the story “Another New Beginning” which is quite a gripping tale of heartbreak. “Heart of Ice” is a unique story about obsession of first love. It certainly was surprising for me. “Welcome to the family – a Kitten’s Tale” is a very cute one told from an older cat’s point of view. The rest of the stories were entertaining too. I wish I could go on and on. If you love reading short stories or anthologies, then you can try this one. I don’t think it’ll be disappointing at all. :)
